Discovering the Pythagorean Relationship

Today in Math we compared the areas of the squares on the sides of various triangles. Can you describe the relationship among them?

  1. The relationship between Legs A,B, and the Hypotenuse is as follows: Legs A and B (Or however you choose to name them) can be squared and the squares, once added together, are then the equivalent to the length of the Hypotenuse squared. Formula: A²+B²=C²
