Circumference relationship

Ahsan explains to the class how he knows the circumference of the can is longer than the height. How can you find the diameter of a circle when given its circumference?

Discovering Pi

Today in math class students measured the diameter and circumference of circles. We then did a few calculations and discovered that the circumference of any circle is about 3 times the diameter. Here are some pics of the kids in action. 

HPV

Today our health nurse came in to speak to us about the HPV shot. Please discuss this shot with your parents and make an informed decision. All permission forms are due back September 23rd.

September is such an exciting month! For teachers and children, it's a month of change and new beginnings- new surroundings, new friends, new experiences, new skills and new challenges.
