With the beginning of the new school year upon us, I would like to welcome you and your child back to Dougall. I am looking forward to another great year. Grade 8 challenges children to grow as students and develop a stronger sense of responsibility for themselves. Please take a moment to read the following information to help get the year off to a great start.
Agendas
Once again this year, we will be offering agendas to the students. The school subsidizes the cost of the agenda, so the agendas only cost $5.00. Students are encouraged to use this tool everyday to stay organized.
Homework
Homework will be assigned everyday. This should take about 1hour per night and may include daily reading. Special projects or assignments that are not completed in class may add to this time. Please check your child's agenda or this site on a daily basis for homework updates.
