Reading Response Guidelines

Over the past few weeks we have shared our thinking about The Book Thief that I have been reading aloud to you. Together we have done some really great thinking and talking about the novel. Now instead of only talking about your thinking, you're going to put your thinking down on paper. When you write about your thinking, you can remember it and share it with others who read it.

In our class this year, you're going to share your thinking by writing your thoughts in a letter to me in your reading journal. I will read your letter and write back to you.

Below is a submission schedule so that you know exactly when your letter is due.
