Cooling off in Clear Lake

After an action packed day in the sun, there's no better way to cool down than a dip in the lake.

Morning paddle anyone?

This morning a group of students were able to get out on the open water for a quick paddle. For many this was their first time in any type of boat.

Fire Building

Using only a small piece of magnesium and charcoal cloth the students were able to ignite a "cedar nest" and eventually build a campfire. Good job guys!

Tuesday Polar Dip

Despite a chilly 4 degree overnight low and frigid lake water temps, many of our brave campers ventured out into Clear Lake! Too cold for me, I'll wait for July.
